Sorry Female Eagles Fans

Jeremy Bloom will officially not be playing for the team this year.  Evidently it's going to take him more than a few months to transition from skiing shape to football shape.

Hopefully he'll be ready to challenge for a job as a punt/kick returner in 2007.  This should also leave plenty of time for him to continue his modeling career...

Look for this announcement to spur several dozen stories tomorrow, wholly disproportionate to his impact on the team, and most of which will take the same lazy "sorry ladies" angle I took here.

Oh well, at least I was first.
