"We won't need much of a game plan"

Over on the Eagles team site, Sheldon Brown, who is consistently one of the most thoughtful Eagles, has some thoughts on the performance of the defense in the first pre-season game:

"Sunday went like this: Six plays and six pluses. The guys up front really set the tempo and dominated the line of scrimmage, so there was really no action to be made on the back end. It was a great start by the front seven. It made things so easy for us..."

"Sunday was very promising. If those guys play like that every game, we won't need much of a game plan."
