Midnight Train to Georgia ... Please
I don't like this at all:
The Falcons' interest in speaking with Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo illustrated the respect he has garnered in his first season here, but now that Big Blue is going to the Super Bowl, his stock is even higher.
The Redskins reportedly want to speak with Spagnuolo about their head coaching post as well.
Hopefully it doesn't become a bidding war -- Snyder isn't ever going to be outspent on his coaching hires.

You respect Spagnuolo a lot, huh?

The Giants defense was unrelenting this year. His guys really seem to respond to him on the sidelines. And he's got a tremendously in-depth understanding of how the Eagles do things on both sides of the ball.
I'm ready to see him go somewhere else.

From the reports I've read it looks like we might be safe (at least as far as him being the head coach of the Redskins) since it looks like Fassell is their #1 candidate.
