Yeah, I'm OK With This
Punt returning seems to me like one of those things where you either have it or you don't. This kid has it.
Maybe Anonymous Dude is actually Reno Mahe?

I've seen most of the Golden Bears' games the past few years and I the love the DeSean Jackson pick. He's a playmaker, a damn skinny playmaker, but a playmaker, nonetheless, and I think he's going to surprise a lot of people who think he's little more than a reincarnation of Pinkston.

I'm a huge fan of getting DeSean Jackson -- there was a time when I was hoping we'd nab him in the first (this was before last year's college football season). Obviously to pick him up in the middle of the second round is huge.

I could see being upset about this pick if this had been a great year for big, fast wide receivers -- but it wasn't.
We asked for playmakers, this kid's a playmaker.

Anonymous dude doesn't mind the return man, he minds dropping the first round pick.
The return man would have happened regardless of the firstround pick.
The roster isn't good enough to keep passing on first round picks.
That they didn't see anyone they liked at 19 is BS. They have no trust in their ability to develop players. So they skip out. Kinda like McNabb waiting for a guy to "open" before he throws. So...Reid just threw the ball away instead of trusting the staff around him.
