Domo's Usual Scout Grades The Draft
Liked some guys, didn't like others. I was pretty intrigued by his take on the cornerback. Could soften the blow of Lito leaving ... next year.

It's interesting... the Eagles have gotten almost universal praise for that Ikegwonou pick from draftniks and college football guys. Fans seem to hate the pick, but I heard both Mike Mayock and Mel Kiper say they thought he was a potential first round pick if he had not been hurt.
Mayock talked about how he absolutely shut down Mario Manningham(which we may ask him to do again!) and has pretty much everything you look for in a corner. He's physical, covers well, has good ball skills...
Obviously we'll have to wait until 09 to see... but despite hearing almost nothing about this guy leading up the draft, all this post draft love about him has made me feel pretty optimistic.

I agree Jason. Everything I've read so far has been glowing about the birds taking this guy. Hopefully his knee heals properly and he doesn't spend any time in the can. I loved the Laws pick too. Still not sold on Jackson. Kind of agree with the scout's take. We'll see.

I don't know who's scout this is, but some of his assessments totally contradict scouting reports I've read on these guys.
I wonder who's right.
