Football's Back!

Hallelujah.
Check out this particulary informative pdf that lays out the Eagles training camp schedule. Interestingly, it also includes a picture of Sav Rocca practicing either field goals or kickoffs?
Best line in the bunch:
Booker is more of a third-down back than Westbrook ... but he sure seems to be able to run a pattern and catch a pass. Andy Reid likes backs who do that, the Daily News has learned.
--Les Bowen

Uhhhh, ... isn't a third down back supposed to be good at catching the ball? ..And how much better could he actually be than Westbrook at this?.........

Westbrook should be THE highest paid player on the team, and nobody else, NOBODY ELSE should even be remotely close.
The fraud, #5, should be told his contract is going to be renegotiated, or he's getting sent to a project team, where he can rot in well-deserved ignominity, and whine and cry why meanspirited Pennsylvanians turned against him.
The team should come out with a public pronouncement that Westbrook is now, THE MAN, THE PLAYER, THE FRANCHISE, and that #5 is nothing but supporting cast, who already has his ticket punched for departure from the city of brotherly love, which rightly has NO love left for him.
The organization should announce that McNabb is but one more quarterback from our long, miserable and failed past, and Kolb is the man who will lead us to the promised land.

I'm pumped for training camp. I'll have a personal correspondent who will post a first-hand account of it daily. Now we don't have to put up with Spadaro's BS.

Didn't we annoint Bobby Hoying as our savior at one point, Dan?
I grow tired of all the controversy around McNabb (which to be fair, seems to not be of his making, or of his intentional making, anyway) but I'm not sure how fast I want to run out of town a a multi-pro bowl player who's won several playoff games and division titles, for a guy who played a few snaps in preseason and the end of the blowout Lions game.
I hope #36 gets his raise, though. Much deserved.
