Radio Update
SECOND UPDATE: Here's the link to the podcast.
Update on the timing: 9:25 ET tonight rather than 8:45.
Got bumped for Ed Werder. That in and of itself is actually sort of cool.

Hey Derek,
I'm liking you on that show. I've heard all the interviews, and the format works well. I was actually at the game on Sunday (won tickets in the Red Zone, 1st row. Un-f***ing-believable.) and it was incredible.
Lemme add a bit to the man-crush we're all having on DJax. I agree with the things you were saying he does suprisingly well (like getting off the jam). But I was blown away on Sunday and in the preseason by how he breaks tackles. Who'd have thought? But watch the replay on his big sideline catches vs. the Rams. He has unbelievable balance and body control so he often stiff-arms the cornerback hitting him, flying in the air, but staying on his feet. He ends up getting pushed out of bounds, but only after getting an extra 3-5 yrds of YAC! I can't believe how hard this 170 lb "peanut" is to bring down!

OK, you now have a 5-star rating, plus I listened twice to bump up the hits. Nice job!

If only we (philly sports phans) had people like you on the radio stating the facts and having a clear understanding of the game(s) all the time. There wouldn't be so much anomisity toward Rollins, McNabb, etc. who are villified because some hold them up to this standard that goes far beyond their abilities (do the #s 6, 1, and 0 ring a bell?).

DeSean's stiff arm is his least talked about skill. And it's as important as his speed.

Glad you agree, Eric. Others? I'm really curious if this is actually a real skill or if my man-crush is coloring my view of his play...
