I'm Taking The Bye Early
That game was disgusting. The result was devastating. And I'm not going to ruin my day-and-a-half of vacation here by sitting in front of a computer and dwelling on it.
See you Wednesday.

Think of it this way -- at least you didn't throw down the cash to watch it in person.
Enjoy your time off, and embrace the Phightins!

The Eagles took the bye a little early, too.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Brett And Garret Reid coz at least last year they gave us an excuse for Eagles' stinky performances. This year there are no excuses.... Eagles plain suck!!! wtf!!!

Last week, after the Steelers sustained yet more injuries to starters, Coach Tomlin said "it is only devastating if you allow it to be."
So now the Eagles face a choice: fold their tent, wait for 2009, and perhaps say adios to the AR & McNabb era, as some fans seem to prefer; or man-up, rally around McNabb, Buck, and DJax, and play with that urgency that Garcia seemed to inspire 2 years ago. I hope for the latter.
Who knows what Tomlin said behind closed doors. To my mind, maybe the Eagles need a Ray Rhodes-style, peel-the-paint-off-the-wall, ferocious, a**-chewing speech, circa 1995, when he was coach of the year and the Birds came back from 1-3 to finish 10-6.

The Eagles lost cause their coach is one cheesesteak away from cardiac arrest and is distracted by kids who shove meth in their ass; their QB is a thin-skinned soup-peddler; and their fans are stains from Philly.
As my man Cooooooooooooooooooooollleeey said, "It sounded so good listening to all the Philly fans booing their beloved Eagles in their own stadium. Nothing could have been better watching those fans sulk on their way home after they egged our buses driving in, screamed 'sucks' after every player on our starting offense was introduced, and then proceeded to talk shit to us all day. I rejoiced driving away watching sorry stragglers flip off our bus with tears in their eyes. Just another win in Philly for the Skins." -Cooley

The sidebar stats in the ESPN story bsencore cites above say it all:

W/out BWest: 16.7 ppg, 3-7 record

McNabb, your uninspired, lazy brained ass has got to go.
Andy, if there is a hint that you'll let your next QB get away with this BS for the long haul, you can follow him.
