Week 12 Picks

Posted by Derek

The results haven't been compiled in awhile, so I don't know how well I'm doing.  But I have a bad feeling.

The best part, though, is that now I'm getting emails from the other guys that say things like:  "Derek if you want help writing a Football Rules 101 for Iggles Blog let me know, it would be a public service and that is a nonpartisan effort I can get behind."

Thank you, Donovan.

Picks after the jump.

Thursday

CIN @ PIT (-11.5)
I'm really quite certain that Pittsburgh will cover.  Unfortunately, I picked the Bengals.

Sunday

SF @ DAL (-10)
If I had to make a guess for which NFCE team that loooked good early would turn it on late, I wouldn't necessarily pick the Eagles.

PHI @ BAL (-1)
Heart, not brain.

NYJ @ TEN (-5)
Not sure the Jets are that good.

BUF (-3) @ KC
Buffalo has to win one eventually, right?

MIN @ JAX (-2.5)
Two teams I really don't understand.  I guess I'll take the points.

NE @ MIA (no line = straight up even)
I would not expect the Wildcat to make much of an appearance today.

CHI (-7.5) @ STL
Lot of points for that Bears team, but the Rams suck.

HOU @ CLE (-3)
Two teams I really don't understand.  I guess I'll take the points.

TB (-7.5) @ DET
Blech, Detroit makes games unwatchable.

OAK @ DEN (-9)
The Broncos are a bit like the Eagles in that every time I think I see them putting things together, it all falls apart.

WAS (-3.5) @ SEA
Seattle just looks so limited, but I could see Washington losing this game as one of this week's patented NFL inexplicable results.

NYG (-3) @ ARZ
I'm just not seeing Kurt Warner against that defense.

CAR @ ATL (-1)
As per usual.

IND @ SD (-2.5)
Surprised the Chargers are favored here.  Very surprised.

Monday

GB @ NO (-2.5)
Total who knows game.  I guess I kind of like Brees at home on national television to light things up.  Saints 35 - Packers 24
