Interesting Rick Reilly Column

Gabe linked to this, which is good, because otherwise I would never have seen it.  Rick Reilly quizzes a bunch of NFL players on some not-that-obscure rules and finds that most of these guys don't actually know the rulebook all that well.

It's a fine little column idea, but that's not really what I want to point out.  This killed me:

Q: What is the penalty for running into the kicker on a quick kick?

• Chester Pitts, G, Texans: "It's a 15-yard penalty. If you annihilate him, I guarantee someone will throw a flag."

Mr. Chester Pitts certainly seems to understand the realities of the modern NFL.  When in doubt, make it a 15-yarder.
