Atta Boy, A.J.

Assuming Feeley's not one of those guys who obsesses about what he doesn't have -- another starting shot -- and simply appreciates what he does, is there any other Eagles player you'd rather be?  Veteran back-up quarterbacks can last a long, long time in this league.  They get to eat, drink and sleep football, understanding that their most important jobs don't happen on Sundays.  Not a bad way to go.

Things will get interesting, though, if Kolb struggles a bit in his first couple starts.  A.J.'s going to have to practice his, "It's Kevin's team / I think he's doing some things well / He just needs to cut down on a couple of mistakes / I'm doing whatever I can to support him / No, I'm not even thinking about that, I know I'm the #2 and he's the guy right now." 

It can be tough to make that sound convincing if you don't really believe it.
