Bold Comma Aggressive

For the avoidance of doubt, the Philadelphia Eagles would like to remind you that the trade that brought Jason Peters to the Birds is a "bold, aggressive" move, as noted in the video about the trade on PE.com, the related article posted on the site, and the e-mail they sent on Friday night.
Bold. Comma. Aggressive.
Why spend cycles describing and characterizing the move? Why not just skip right to the details and talk about the player or his impact on the team? "Eagles Trade For Two-Time Pro Bowler" would have worked just fine -- why the meta-commentary selling us on the boldness and/ or aggressiveness of the trade?
Because they read the papers, scan the message boards and listen to the radio, and they're worried that the customers (and maybe their quarterback) think that they're not doing enough to improve the team. Remember Dave Spadaro's interview with Andy Reid a month ago:
DS: Fans see a team that has enough room under the salary cap to do whatever it wants in terms of acquiring players. The approach seems to be more conservative. Can you explain the approach so far in the off-season?
AR: "You can say it's a conservative approach or you can just say it's smart. People are hesitant to say that, but … Because you have the money, you just don't go blow it on something that you don't think is good enough quality to put on the Eagles uniform. That can be perceived different ways. We're going to try to bring in the right people here and do the right things in free agency that we feel are best for this football team. That's the way we have approached and I think that's the way you have to approach it."
Got it, everyone? This team is not conservative. It's bold comma aggressive. It's playing to win now. You should not complain about the front office. You should appreciate how hard said front office is working to be bold comma aggressive and win the Super Bowl. Sure, it's not a wide receiver, but other positions can be bold comma aggressive too.
Andy Reid even suggested as much in an offhand comment during Peters' introductory presser earlier today, perking up at the suggestion that Peters would count as a "weapon":
On bringing in offensive weapons and addressing needs so far this offseason: "I'm glad we're putting those offensive linemen in as weapons, I like that. I think that's an important move. I think all of our moves have been important. We have to get ourselves ready to play. We have to do the mental part now and then the physical part and getting ourselves ready to play. We'll start that after the draft."
It's just nice to see everyone staying on message.
UPDATE: I just watched Joe Banner's interview on Eagles Live and he mentioned how "people" want the team to be "aggressive." Again, for the avoidance of doubt.
