Westbrook Edition

If Westbrook being out is such a good thing because it allows Booker, and more importantly McCoy, to get so many more reps, why don't the coaches just park Westbrook on the sidelines when he shows up healthy?

With Westbrook out, McCoy already injured and the new weapons in the passing game, nothing will stop Mornhinreid from passing every play now -- big laugh, hardeharhar.

Since it's never good to be the offseason champs ... and since the Eagles were headed that way before the Westbrook injury ... I don't mind so much if the expectations get lowered a bit.

Bonus Non-Westbrook Point

Whatever happened to that "veterans committee" Reid formed a couple years back, now that all the veterans are gone and Sheldon has presumably stopped attending meetings?  Do McNabb and Reid get together for a drink coffee tea and say things like, "Boy, I really hope Brian's surgery went well."
