Let's Set The Record Straight: NOTHING Happened

Whew.

Jayden James just posted a follow-up article on her blog (still NSFW) to dispel all those untoward rumors and speculation floating around in re: the time that she spent with Donovan McNabb last weekend.  In Jayden's own words:

In conclusion, we all know how the tabloid types operate: They take a small kernel of a fact (cocktails at a pool, vacation in Mexico, etc.) and embellish it to make it seem like something of a big deal.  There was no article that I found about McNabb that said anything ‘happened’, but that’s obviously the message that they’re trying to get across. They make is seem like being in the same location as a pornstar is something to be embarrassed about, and that’s hardly the case! We’re ‘normal’ people, just like you, just going about in our daily lives, living in our own little underground Hollywood. I just can’t believe that people are so ignorant and think that, just because a pornstar was present, everyone was getting bl*wn! Actually, if you must know, I got absolutely NO action in Vegas!

Anyway, those people posting those articles are assholes and it’s not even worth getting upset over. NOTHING in my blog said anything bad about the situation with Donovan or even hinted at any sort of infidelity. He’s just a nice guy that I had a couple drinks with… along with a BUNCH of other people. 

Fair enough, Jayden.  Fair enough.  We'd hate to believe that we've caused you any grief. 

What we probably don't have a good sense of: the part where extremely beautiful women throw themselves at athletes all the time, and that this was probably among the tamer encounters that a guy like Donovan McNabb has over a weekend in Vegas.  We mere mortals really don't know, do we. 

What Jayden probably doesn't have a good sense of: there's really one person whose opinion matters, and that's Mrs. McNabb.  And, generally speaking (and I would hardly claim to be an expert in these matters), "most" women prefer that their husbands not hang out with porn stars, no matter how normal said porn star is and how innocent (not even in the topless pool area!) the surroundings.  Still, this is as close to an official pardon as Big Five's going to get. 

Also, is there any chance that Jayden knows Kendra?  They're both in the nekkid-lady business, no?  Or does it not work like that?

(Man, this is sooooo much better than manufacturing posts about the Telly awards.  Someone from the Birds needs to hang out with a porn star every July.)
