Bingo -- Here's Your #5 Cornerback

The Eagles have a couple positions where the down-roster options aren't overwhelmingly great, with cornerback being one of them.

Something must not be going well for Rod Hood these days, since in the space of the past week he's been cut by two different teams, but assuming he hasn't ballooned to 240 pounds or anything (doesn't look like it), this wouldn't be a bad spot for the 27-year-old to come get his career back on track.

He was pretty good on special teams, too, as I recall.

Unrelatedly, it's worth keeping in mind that A.J. Feeley isn't the only backup quarterback who's on the market right now.  Although Feeley would certainly be cheaper.
