The Philly Wildcat Has Its New Name

Yesterday, the Daily News asked readers to send in suggestions for new names for the Vick Wildcat package.  They posted the "best" ones today, and for the most part they're not that inspired.

However, I think we have a winner:

"The Most Overblown Gadgetry Since Using A Midget in the World Series," Kerry Reinhart, Lehighton

Indeed.  Minus only a few points for historical inaccuracy, this is the best thing I've seen so far.

From now on, until we get something better, I'm calling that package TMOGSUAMITWS, which is pronounced "too-MOGUE-sue-ah-mih-tus."

Or T-MOG for short.
